This is the first of the 20 issues of the 2008 Home, Yard, and Garden Pest Newsletter. We will provide biweekly issues during April, followed by weekly issues during May and June. July, August, and September will have biweekly issues, followed by monthly issues in October and November. These issues will provide information about current and imminent pest occurrence throughout the state. Articles will focus primarily on insect pests and diseases, with occasional articles on weeds, pesticides, and other topics of importance. Articles will be written for landscape professionals, including arborists, landscapers, lawn-care professionals, golf-course personnel, greenhouse growers, and garden-center operators. We welcome comments and suggestions from our readers as we strive to maintain and increase the quality of this publication. | |
