Rose Downy Mildew Concern |
May 27, 2003 |
Evidently, conditions for rose downy mildew have been ideal. Retailers report refusing shipment from at least three rose suppliers because of rose downy mildew infection. Please refer to last week’s issue for symptoms. Inspect new purchases carefully. This disease may cause complete defoliation of rose plants. If you should end up with it in your garden, spray other roses with mancozeb to protect them.
