Other Sawflies

The Morton Arboretum reports heavy infestations of sawfly larvae on azalea, elderberry, and hazelnut. Although it’s not obvious which sawflies these would be now, be watchful for them. Carbaryl or other labeled insecticides should be effective if sawflies are numerous and causing heavy damage.
