Minnesota to Host Ecology of Urban Soils Conference

May 10, 2000

A national conference, “The Ecology of Urban Soils: Designing and Managing Soils for the Living Landscape,” will be held June 11-13, 2000, in St. Paul, Minnesota. This conference is for anyone working with the planning, design, construction, and/or maintenance of urban infrastructure and outdoor areas, including engineers, architects, designers, contractors, developers, builders, city planners, arborists, foresters, consultants, scientists, and educators. CEUs are available. Pre-registration payment is due May 10. Give Cindy a call as soon as possible, and tell her you heard about the conference late. She will do what she can to get you registered. This conference is sponsored by the American Phytopathological Society (APS) and cosponsored by a number of horticultural associations, including the American Society of Consulting Arborists and the International Society of Arboriculture.
